Mother Tongues Festival is delighted to commission ‘I Live Here’, a thought-provoking photo exhibition by Aarif Amod.
Through a series of 10 striking portraits of children and young people (8 – 15 years old), Aarif showcases today’s Irish rich heritage with a representation of second-generation individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds who live and thrive in Ireland.
Using QR codes, discover their stories, their spaces and the connections that bind us all! ‘I Live Here’ promises to inspire reflection on what it means to belong, creating a space where art and community unite – not to be missed!
“Being able to connect with people from different cultural backgrounds and gain insight from a very unique and pure perspective has been a great highlight for me during this project” shares Aarif.
