Fidget Feet, the internationally renowned aerial dance company has been collaborating with Tobi Omoteso creating Ireland’s first aerial hip h’Oprea , H.O.M.E. Funded by arts council and commissioned by Carlow Arts Festival , Caride and Eargail Arts Festival. H.O.M.E will be touring this show nationally for 2025.
Through a unique fusion of aerial choreography, contemporary dance, original music, operatic performances and captivating visuals, H.O.M.E. dives deep into themes of belonging, love, and human connection. Whether you think of “home” as a place, a feeling, or a memory, this show speaks to the universal longing to find and hold onto it. 2 members of the cast from H.O.M.E. Sara Granda and Tobi Omoteso will take part in Gravity Shift at the Civic , they will offer workshops to allow young people to get to know more about how we made H.O.M.E we will offer physical sessions in hip-hop , movement and aerial.
We will also mentor the young people to create different sketches mixing these arts forms with the skills they have. We will also do a deep dive into the themes of the show. Come with comfortable clothes , be prepared to get physical , bring a notebook so you can journal throughout the 2 days and more importantly bring an open heart and mind to be creative. We can’t wait to share our experience as professional artists in Ireland and will offer a safe environment where young people can ask questions and create together.

Tobi Omoteso is Nigerian-born based in Limerick he has worked for many years building the Irish Hip Hop culture nationally.
Sara Granda is originally from Malaga, Spain. She is an associate artist with Fidget Feet and has performed in many of Fidget Feet’s indoor and outdoor shows.
