I was born in the 1950’s and raised in the suburb of Perrystown, Dublin 12. Some of my childhood summers were spent roaming through the green fields around Oldbawn, Tallaght, not knowing then that I would eventually be living here after marriage. Married to Ann, we have two grown up children, Seán and Niamh. I am semi-retired from the Public Service after nearly 50 years’ service. Participation in sport and fitness has always been a part of my life and thankfully it still is.
Taking part in Songs of Change has been a wonderful opportunity to meet some great people with amazing stories to share. Working through the different exercises prompted long forgotten thoughts and happenings.
“Discuss a significant moment of change in your life” & “Are there things you miss about other places”, were some of the topics raised as part of the process that really got the brain cells working and made for many interesting discussions recalling memories long past.
Working with a very talented creative team, it was a revelation to see how our stories and experiences can be molded to create such thoughtful songs.
Songs of Change has truly been a rewarding and memorable experience.
