The place I feel safest is my home but that doesn’t mean I don’t like adventure.  I do.  And Songs of Change was an adventure as was Ghost Hares.  I love the outdoors.  Corkagh Park, all along the Grand Canal, out by the sea at Bray.  I liked some of the exercises that asked us to remember the smells and tastes and textures of our lives.  Tayto crisps.  The sweet crunch of a toffee apple.  The smell of pine.  The smell of muck on my granny’s farm in Galway.  The Forget-Me-Nots in the window boxes my father kept.  The Peter & Jane books of my childhood.  I look forward to the next adventure.
