Tosin began her vocal and performance journey at a young age with her local church choir. After discovering her love and passion for music, she then went on to Dunboyne College of Further Education where she received her FETAC level 5 Diploma in Music Performance. Tosin went on to BIMM Dublin, where she completed a Foundation Diploma in Professional Musicianship, followed by a BA Honours degree in Commercial Modern Music. Tosin has performed and toured around Ireland with her own project Toshín (soul infused pop-funk).

She has also performed at various festivals, including Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Beatyard, Ireland Music Week and Music Maker (UK). Coming from a strong gospel background, Tosin is also part of the African Gospel Choir in Dublin (Oba Nla, Kaleidoscope) and continues to sing in her local church choir.

Tosin takes her inspiration from Aretha Franklin, Tank and the Bangas, Tasha Cobbs and Alabama Shakes.
