Misery opens at Civic Theatre on Tuesday, 9th October and runs for 5 nights. This show has received a great response from audiences and is sure to be a great night out…
Novelist Paul Sheldon has plans to make the difficult transition from writing historical romances featuring heroine Misery Chastain to publishing literary fiction, however he gets more than his imagination could ever conjure when he crosses paths with his biggest fan Annie Wilkes after a car wreck leaves him in her care. The former nurse takes care of him in her remote house, but becomes irate when she discovers that the author has killed Misery off in his latest book. Annie keeps Sheldon prisoner while forcing him to write a book that brings Misery back to life. Joe Meagher and Denise Quinn star in this classic Stephen King psychological horror, directed by John Grubb and produced by Suirfire Productions.
Contains some strong language and scenes of a violent nature.
