Emmet Kirwan’s piece Heartbreak has been released on video, going viral with over 1 million views on Facebook alone this week.
The film tells the story of a teenage single mum through a powerful poem and features the daughter of Dublin senator Lynn Ruane, Jordanne Jones.
Kirwan shot to fame for his part in RTE cult comedy Sarah & Steve – said he was initially unsure how the Dave Tynan directed video would be received.
