In May over 40 children attended Tom Thumb by Lyngo Theatre, funded by INSPIRE our Patron Donation Scheme.
The Civic offer all patrons the opportunity donate to the INSPIRE scheme via our Box Office or online whether you’re booking a show or wish to donate independently. We ensure that the tickets generated are given to children in creches, primary and secondary schools and youth arts groups in the local area.
On 24th May, 25 children from Limetree and Kozy Kids creche in Clondalkin enjoyed a visit to Tallaght library where librarian Alison Yeates and the staff at Tallaght library facilitated a short session of interactive storytelling.
The children were then accompanied by staff to The Civic and watched Tom Thumb, a fascinating play based on the famous fairy tale. They drew pictures about their favourite bit of the show.

In the afternoon over 20 children from Drama Beans a youth Theatre Club in Tallaght were also able to attend thanks to your generous donations.
