The School Yard Band ‘Concert Series for Primary Schools’
The Civic are thrilled to partner with Shay Lally director of The Mobile Music School to produce The School Yard Band series of Concerts for Primary Schools as part of The Civic Education programme this year.
With the support of The Arts Council we can offer a fun introduction of live music performances for children with this brilliant 5 piece Brass ensemble at your school! The Mobile Music School is well established with a group of professional musicians delivering engaging, entertaining and educational programmes throughout Ireland.
The School Yard Band series of Concerts for Primary Schools will commence a mini-tour in the area of South Dublin this Spring! The Civic are delighted to visit 6 schools with concerts free of charge for The School Yard Band with these available dates:
Monday 24th February,
Monday 10th March or
Monday 24th March 2025
Registration is now open to primary schools in the South Dublin area.

Who are The Mobile Music School?
Established in 2011 the Mobile Music School delivers music programmes in schools across Ireland. Staffed by a team of experts our classes, workshops and concert for schools series have been enjoyed by 50,000 plus participants to date.
The Mobile Music School are delighted to be working in association with the Civic Theatre in Tallaght. The School Yard Band are an interactive five piece ensemble that perform a range of music including TV and cartoon theme tunes, popular songs, traditional Irish tunes, film music and a little bit of classical stuff too.
Having performed for thousands of children in schools in Dublin The School Yard Band has inspired a new generation of musicians!
