The Civic are delighted to present multi disciplinary creative workshops and performances from art forms such as Music, Drama, Dance & Digital, Storytelling and Theatre making. Expanding audience participation and engagement as part of the The Civic South Dublin Cruinniú na nÓg Festival 2025 . All work is facilitated by professional artists, creating new work for Children on and before Saturday 7th June.

Singing in The Rain

Presented by Rachel Drew (Let’s Sing)
A musical, multi-sensory experience for children and their families

Make Your Own Story

Presented by Juliette Saumande
Taking inspiration from Juliette’s books ‘My Little Album of Ireland’ and ‘My Little Album of Dublin’, we will use ourselves, each other, our senses and maybe a bit of luck to create our own stories.

Beach Days

Presented by Monica Munoz
A multi-sensory dance show followed by an interactive workshop.

Bang and Blast

Presented by Mary Curran (Whisteblast Quartet)
A music workshop designed to be fun, educational, interactive, inclusive and provide an active introduction to the wonderful French horn, live music, percussion and group play.

Age Suitability: 4 – 12 years

Leaps and Bounds!

Presented by Freshly Ground Theatre Company
An exciting showcase of new work created by an ensemble of students, ages 11 -14 years across four schools in South Dublin.

Age Suitability: 8+ years

Unlock Creativity with Digital Moves

Presented by Jack Philp
A unique opportunity to explore the worlds of dance, choreography, motion capture and digital art. Join us for workshops in May and Jun and a final showing of the digital participants created, which will be showcased on 7th Jun.

Age Suitability: 13 – 18 years
